Contribute
Anyone can propose content. Every contribution is reviewed before it is published.
Two ways to contribute
- With Git: fork the repository, add a file in
workflows/,prompts/,skills/,agent-configs/,model-checks/,reviews/orfailures/, and open a pull request. - Without Git: open an issue, choose a template and fill it in. We will turn it into a page.
What every contribution needs
Every contribution (a workflow, a prompt, a skill, an agent config, a model check, a review or a failure) is one page of the site, written as a .qmd file that starts with this header. Copy it into a new file and fill it in:
---
title: "Short, task-based title"
description: "One sentence: what it does."
# categories: literature, proposals, code,
# analysis, writing, review
categories: [literature]
phase: "Literature"
model: "Model name and version"
tool: "Interface or tool"
tested: 2026-10-31
qflag: L1
time-saved: "3 h -> 40 min (measured)" # workflows only
# date of publication
date: 2026-10-31
author:
- name: "First Last" # orcid is optional
orcid: 0000-0000-0000-0000
affiliations:
- name: "Institute"
---A failure needs only title, description, date and author.
Sections for each type
After the header, use these sections, in this order:
- Workflow, in
workflows/name.qmd: Goal · What you need · Steps · How to check the result · Where it fails. - Prompt, in
prompts/name.qmd: Prompt (exactly as used) · Example (real input and output) · Known limits. - Skill, in
skills/name/index.qmd, with the skill files (SKILL.mdand any scripts) in the same folder: What it does · SKILL.md · How to check the result · Where it fails. - Agent config, in
agent-configs/name.qmd: The file to copy (AGENTS.mdorCLAUDE.md) · How to check the result · Where it fails. - Model check, in
model-checks/name.qmd: Task · Prompt · Expected answer · Results (model, date, answer, pass or fail). - Review, in
reviews/name.qmd: Paper reviewed · Model, date and review prompt · Points checked and confirmed · Points checked and rejected · Points not yet checked · Authors’ reply. - Failure, in
failures/name.qmd: What happens · How to catch it · How to prevent it · Cases.
Reviews follow the extra ground rules: only published papers, every confirmed point checked by a scientist in the field, and a right of reply for the authors.
Credit and citation
Every contributed page shows its authors and ends with a How to cite box, with a ready-made reference and BibTeX entry built from the title, the authors, the date and the page address.
Contributions are published under the site licences: text under CC BY 4.0, code under MIT.
Review criteria
- A colleague in the same field can follow the contribution and reuse it.
- Prompts are given exactly as used.
- How to check the result is concrete, not “verify the output”.
- Nothing confidential or under embargo is included.
A contribution enters at L1 when the author has tested it on a real case. It moves to L2 when someone else reproduces it. Untested contributions are welcome too: they are published as L0 drafts.
